History

The Ritz-Carlton Residences are located in the heart of Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood, along the Magnificent Mile. After the Great Chicago Fire decimated the area, millionaire Potter Palmer moved there in 1882, building the historic Palmer Mansion. While the Palmer Mansion no longer stands, Palmer’s relocation attracted other wealthy residents, spurring the Gold Coast to grow into a neighborhood occupied primarily by the Windy City's most affluent residents. The Magnificent Mile, Chicago’s largest shopping district, is one of the neighborhood’s primary destinations.

Demographic

Residential towers, opulent condominiums, and high-end shopping mark the Gold Coast as an elite community inhabited by some of Chicago’s most successful residents. It’s a community that offers an unparalleled lifestyle to those who can afford to call it home.
